Central Oregon holds a special fascination for me.  The Crooked River and Deschutes River Canyons are truly wonders and I am continually inspired by their beauty.   I love the colors and textures of the rocks and I am fascinated by the Juniper forests.  This is so different from where I live in wet and always green NW Washington.

Tree series.   These are inspired by actual trees and snags that I have viewed on my hiking trips throughout the Cascades and coastal areas of the pacific north west.
